Facilities
The science Laboratory
The science Laboratory is equipped with apparatuses for test, barometer, maximum & minimum thermometer, binocular, charts and models necessary to teach General (Natural Science)
The Psychology Laboratory
The Psychology section has provision for holding Psychological tests like intelligence test personality test & sensory motor tests with charts and figures.
The educational Technology Laboratory
The educational Technology section has in its possession a T.V, an audio-cassette recorder, one small projector, a transistor set , one computer & camera with many charts & pictures. There are a set of handtools for woodwork, set of gardener's tools & materials of clay modeling and tailoring in the workshop attached to the laboratory .
The Art & Music Laboratory
In the Art & Music section we have board, brushes colours, art-papers, simple musical instruments like harmonium, table, mridanga, flute & sound recording equipments with costumers and accessories for staging dance & drama Performance
Practice Teaching Schools
Practice Teaching Schools are within the area Nabagram Campus: Primary schools in Nabagram Block. Amritakunda Campus. (The date of Programme will be announced in due time).
Guest Lectures & Seminars
To provide additional opportunities for all students, enjoyable and purposeful guest lectures, Demonstration of various education best seminar by the eminent and scholar persons will be provided throughout the session to increase knowledge of our trainees.
Library
Our library is a vast ocean of knowledge intersperssed with different pearls of well stocked books, educational journals and CDs. Our library well equipped library with good volume of books relevant to the course with the modern gadgets and recommended books and journals. Along with this the library offers services of inter library loan to avail the rich reservoir of knowledge form other libraries.
Computer Laboratory
Our institution has opened up the windows on knowledge by setting up a well equipped computer laboratory which assists us to keep pace with the current changing roles of the teacher in this technology driven educational scenario. The institution has full-fledged computer laboratory with LAN.
Psychology Laboratory
The institution optimally utilizes the Psychology Laboratory which has various standardized intelligence tests, aptitude, creativity tests and also interest, adjustment and personality inventories which prove to be beneficial to the M Ed and the PhD students in their endeavors related to psychological constructs. In addition to this, the institute is equipped with the requisite equipments required for conducting the various psychology experiments for B Ed students
Sports and Culture
Full scope for total personality development and social development exposure. Cultural and Co Curricular activities like debates, seminar, symposia sports etc. are permanent features of the Institute. Our institute will organize different types of cultural programs such as Blood Donation Camp, Health Checkup, Social Welfare Activities, and Annual Excursion etc. to accelerate the motion of proper education. Annual sports events, both indoor and outdoor games such as carom, chess, athletics, shot put, discus throw, javelin throw, etc. The institute has its own play grounds in its own lands separate for boys & girls for various outdoor games and visual training like Bratachary.
